Step 11. Customizing Your Template:

There are two ways to customize your Blogger template. One is for novice bloggers and computer users is a Click-and-Build option using the "Layout" tab and the "Fonts and Colors" option. The other is for more seasoned computer users who know HTML. You can use hand coding in the "Layout" tab using the "Edit HTML" option.

Customizing Your Template Fonts and Colors:

1. Using the "Fonts and Colors" selection in the "Layout" tab allows you to change a limited number of aesthetic options such as the color, size and style of the fonts and links on your blog. It also allows you to change the main background color.

Customizing Your Template with HTML:

2. If you know HTML and can figure out the widgets, you can customize all aspects of the appearance of your template in the "Edit HTML" window located in the Layout Tab.

If you don't know HTML proceed to option #2 on the next page.
